In a recent press release, NeocoreGames revealed that their upcoming turn-based RPG game King Arthur: Knight’s Tale will come to Steam on January 12th, 2021. They announced the game about a few months ago, and now they’re confirming it’s going to get a full release also somewhere in early 2021 for PC, and later for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a game inspired by Arthurian legend, having players play as Mordred – King Arthur’s arch-nemesis. After a clash between these knights, they both managed to kill themselves and were later revived by the Lady of the Lake on Avalon’s island. However, King Arthur managed to make Britannia into a place of nightmares after his revival, so it’s up to you, Sir Mordred, to bring down his tyranny.
Players will be able to recruit the Knights of the Round Table, who were once Arthur’s most prized companions, but have now turned their back against the Britannic tyrant. The game includes many RPG elements, allowing you to upgrade your companions, skills, gear, etc. On your way, the main focus will be rebuilding Camelot and expanding the mystical Stronghold with new buildings that each unlock various upgrades.
