Today, Ubisoft released a trailer revealing Immortals: Fenyx Rising’s post-launch content. According to the trailer, 3 new expansions are in progress, with 2 of them starring new playable characters. Other post-launch content was also showcased.
The first DLC, A New God, will take place after the events of the main game. You’ll still get to play as Fenyx, on a quest to rescue the Gods in their palace on Olympus after they have been trapped by the titan Typhon. Fenyx will take on new challenges and puzzles on another quest to save the Gods.
The second DLC is where things get interesting. Titled “Myths of the Eastern Realms”, the second expansion will let you play as a new character, Ku. What’s really special about this DLC is that it adds Chinese Mythology to the game’s universe. As Ku, players will get to fight different types of mythological Chinese monsters and explore an all-new Eastern-themed zone. We expect to see the fabled Chinese demons – animal-like humanoid creatures with evil intents among the monsters.
The 3rd DLC takes us back to Greece, starring Ash as the main character for this expansion. Going by the name of “The Lost Gods,” Ash is on a quest to convince Boreas, Demeter, Hades, Hestia, and Poseidon to rejoin the other gods.
The Season Pass for Immortals: Fenyx Rising will be priced at $39.99, giving players access to every single DLC, along with other exclusive quests and content. Immortals Fenyx: Rising arrives on December 3rd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.
