Call of Duty’s Black Ops sequel, Cold War pre-load, will kick-off today. Both of the current-gen consoles, Xbox One and PS4, have gotten their opportunity to preload the game’s files already, leaving the PC platform to accomplish that today.
CoD: Black Ops Cold War preload option will unlock today for PC users. The preload option is exclusively available through Blizzard’s Battle.net and will have a size of around 175GB – 240GB. Treyarch posted the official file size numbers, but we do not know if they’re supposed to be combined and whether or not people will have the opportunity to choose if they want to download extra high-resolution textures, similar to what Rainbow Six Siege offers.
The preload will begin at the following times, with each part of the game offering a different file size:
- PC: Pre-loading will be available on November 10th at 10 AM PT.
- PC File Size: 35 GB (Multiplayer Only) / 82GB (Full Game) / 125GB (Full Game on Ultra Graphics)
CoD: Black Ops preload starts today, just three days before the official launch on November 13.
