No Man’s Sky Will Run at 4K/60FPS on PS5, Free Next-Gen Upgrade

PlayStation UK has just confirmed that your favorite video exploration real-time strategy survival game, No Man’s Sky, developed and published by Hello Games, will receive a substantial enhancement on the next-gen console, the PS5. Previously impossible, this time reality, the next-gen PS5 console is here to develop more immense visuals and much faster loading times.

According to the official PlayStation Blog, No Man’s Sky will run at 60 FPS in 4K Resolution, which an excellent improvement for all of the fans. As a celebration of the announcement, Sony and Hello Games have teamed up to publish this beautiful next-generation update trailer on the PS5.

If you happen to own this title on the PS4 and you already pre-ordered one of the next-gen consoles for yourself, then worry not! The game will be available to all owners as a free upgrade on the PS5. Some of the strongest features in No Man’s Sky on PS5 have been revealed, and they can be found below:

  • 4K Visuals at 60 FPS
  • 32-Player Multiplayer
  • Reduced Load Times
  • Enhanced Audio
  • Haptic Controls
  • Ultra Visuals
  • Vast base building
  • Crossplay with other platforms, including previous generations
