Published by SEGA and developed by Amplitude Studios, Humankind is an upcoming 4X game that was originally planned to release this year, but back in June, it was delayed for 2021. Today, we’ve got news that its release date will be somewhere around April 2021 for PC and Stadia.
Humankind, as we mentioned above, is a 4X game, similar to the Civilization franchise, and from what we’ve seen so far, it looks pretty good. The game’s world and terrain are really exceptional, making it realistic while still attaining the 4X look. It takes the classic form of most 4X games, making you start through from the beginning of humanity through different timelines and modern times.
Humankind’s Digital Deluxe Edition is already available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game includes:
- HUMANKIND™ digital game
- HUMANKIND™ digital soundtrack (.mp3)
- Unit & Tech tree poster (.pdf)
- HUMANKIND™ Notre-Dame pack:
- Victor Hugo avatar set
- Notre-Dame narrative event
- Notre-Dame wonder
- Inspirational avatar personality
- Boudicca avatar set
- Player profile decoration & symbols set.
Humankind was also available during three playable open-dev gameplay demos, and it recently got a Stadia demo version as well.
