Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition To Run At 4K/60FPS With Ray-Tracing Disabled

Capcom’s upcoming Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will sure pack a punch from what we’ve seen so far. The game will upgrade Devil May Cry 5’s base release from 2019, adding Dante’s brother Vergil as a playable character, faster loading times, and new game modes. Of course, there will be visual enhancements as well, but recently, an official Capcom employee on ResetEra has given us news of DMC5: Special Edition’s capabilities.

According to Capcom employee WBacon, DMC5: Special Edition will run at 4K/30 FPS, and 1080p/60FPS with ray-tracing enabled, 4K/60 FPS ray-tracing disabled, and of course, lower resolutions will support up to 120 FPS, without ray-tracing.

DMC5: Special Edition is going to come out November 10th for the Xbox Series X/S and November 12th for The PS5. Capcom also announced that the Xbox Series X/S would not support ray-tracing at launch, and in other news, they’ve also stated that they don’t have any plans to bring this upgraded version to the PC.
