As the game’s release date, November 10th, Ubisoft’s approaches keep giving us more and more info on Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Today, they released a story trailer about the game, which explains the game’s setting a bit better.
Eivor and his clan from Norway are searching for a new home for more resources to live on, and they stumble upon the British Isles. However, they’re already ruled by Saxon kings and other warmongers who don’t want to share their land with the Nordic people. It’ll be up to Eivor and his clan to battle against these foreign rulers and secure land for their people. Along with all of this, the game will also feature many famous historical figures from that period, including the Saxon king Alfred the Great of Wessex and Ragnar Lothbrok (which many of you may know if you’ve watched the Vikings TV series).
Another critical factor will be Sigurd, Eivor’s closest ally. The game’s storyline will heavily depend on the bond between you two and your thirst for glory.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is available for pre-order, or you can grab it on the day of release on November 10th for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
