CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone are just before entering Season 6. The new Season 6 is estimated to kick in tomorrow, September 29. Some platforms will be available to pre-load the update, such as the PS4, and players have already started doing so. For the first time in a while, this new season is expected to bring the latest travel system to the game, which subways are going to probably be poured by players, especially in the early launch days.
But, back to the main subject. Thanks to some PS4 users who were already available to pre-load the game, Modern Warfare and Warzone’s Season 6 file size will be around 20 GB, which is considerably lower than the previous seasons. Having approximately 20 GB update is far from significant, considering it brings a whole new season. Maybe Infinity Ward learned how to deliver updates, even though it’s too late, and we’re close before Black Ops.
As we know so far, both by content and the landing image for Season 6, Farrah will become a playable character, alongside Nikolai. With the new Battle Pass, people will most likely acquire original blueprints, maybe even weapons, alongside other types of rewards.
In other words, not a lot of content has been added to the game. Judging by the file size, the map is most likely to remain the same except for the different Subway system (Metro), which will allow players to fast travel around the map. As we have noted before:
At the start of every match, the Metro will have multiple identical stations available. Each of them will be available to players for an unlimited time. Hopping onto a subway train will allow you to travel between the open stations, without having the opportunity to use any firearms or eliminate players. Quite peculiar, indeed. Below you can find all the connected zones by the subway system.
