The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is undoubtedly one of the best RPGs of all time. If you haven’t played it yet, then what are you doing!? Go and play it! It has one of the best protagonists of the 21st century, Geralt, its story is beyond amazing, and its two DLCs, particularly Blood and Wine, is good enough to be a standalone game! The open world of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still visually stunning, even if it was released back in 2015. The game’s based on Andrzej Sapkowski novels, and they recently got their own Netflix series, ‘The Witcher.’
Today, Developer CD Projekt Red confirmed that owners of The Witcher 3 would get a free next-gen upgrade, and they’re also willing to tweak the game’s graphics so its more suitable for next-gen, like ray-tracing and faster loading times. CDPR will also release a standalone next-gen version for people who haven’t played the game yet. However, there are no details on pricing.
There have also been rumors on a new Witcher game, but nothing’s confirmed yet. This year, we’ll be getting the anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red, and we’re all stoked to see if it will be better than their previous masterpieces.
