EA’s notorious membership program will be available to order through a completely different platform. Electronic Arts have just announced that EA Access combines forces with Steam. It appears that we’ll finally have the long-awaited EA Play on Steam.
The subscription service will finally become available on Steam on August 31st, allowing the users to play eligible video game titles for just a monthly fee. What’s changed, it’s the name of the service now called EA Play (previously known as EA Access and Origin Access Basic) and EA Play Pro (formerly known as Origin Access Premier).
The game subscription service includes the following games.
The Sims™ 4, Need for Speed™ Heat, Titanfall®2 – and some of EA’s most fabled franchises like Battlefield™, Star Wars™ Battlefront, and Plants vs. Zombies™.
Aside from Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Origin on PC, these will become available on August 31st on Steam as well.
As presumed, there will be numerous game titles that will be scheduled to arrive at a later date, and they will most likely rotate as time goes by.
