Borderlands 4’s Boss Blitz Sets a 500,000-Kill Target
Only kills with Vex, Rafa, Amon, or Harlowe count, and all 4 weapon skins can be used by every Vault Hunter.
Borderlands 4’s Boss Blitz community challenge runs from November 6 through November 15, 2026, with players working toward 500,000 boss kills. Only kills made as Vex, Rafa, Amon, or Harlowe count. If the community reaches the target, Gearbox will share a SHiFT code for the rewards, with the Boss Blitz rules confirming the challenge details.
The challenge celebrates the Borderlands series surpassing 100 million copies sold, a milestone Gearbox marked in its message to the community.
The reward set includes Troubled Upbringing, Fresh Spray, Tally Them All, and Merch Line. Each skin works on any gun and is usable by all Vault Hunters. Their designs take inspiration from the four eligible characters, with Troubled Upbringing themed around Vex, Fresh Spray around Rafa, Tally Them All around Amon, and Merch Line around Harlowe.
Redeeming the code requires a copy of Borderlands 4, an internet connection, and a SHiFT account. Each account can redeem it once, by December 31, 2030. Terms apply.
