DayZ’s 2026 Halloween Event Will Run Through Nov. 6 on 3 Maps
The Castle, Mummy Infected and decaying characters are absent from Sakhal, though cosmetic items appear on all 3 maps.
DayZ’s annual Halloween event is scheduled to run from October 26 through November 6 on Chernarus, Livonia and Sakhal, according to Bohemia Interactive’s Steam announcement. Nasdara will not host the event.
Survivors can expect fog around The Castle, the Mummy Infected, Jack O’ Infected and Witch Infected, along with decaying player characters. Cosmetic items include a leaf crown, witch hat, witch hood and pumpkin helmet.
The event content varies by map. The Castle, Mummy Infected and decaying characters are marked for Chernarus and Livonia, but not Sakhal. Cosmetic items appear across all three maps.
DayZ Badlands is also discounted by up to 10% to mark its launch. Bohemia had announced the expansion’s October 15 release date, and its Steam store page is linked with the sale.
