Escape from Tarkov Raids With 1 Transit Show 23% Less XP
A nine-raid PvP Season 1 sample measured a 23% loss after one transit and a 20% gain after four, while the middle figures remain estimates.

Since Escape from Tarkov’s 1.1.5.0 update, raids with one transit have shown an XP loss in a nine-raid PvP Season 1 sample. Two one-transit raids came in 23% below the no-transit baseline, while one four-transit raid came in 20% above it. The two- and three-transit results are estimates, not measured outcomes.
Since 1.1.5.0, 1–2 transits *lower* your raid XP by up to 23%. Transiting only pays off at 3 [Bug]

The estimates put two transits about 11% below baseline and three about 4% above it, using an older transit multiplier. The breakdown suggests transit affects the full raid’s XP calculation, including XP earned after changing maps, though the end-of-raid screen does not show the multiplier. Its calculations cover PvP Season 1 only, with no confirmation for other modes.
The same calculation treats Season 1’s +25% XP bonus as offset by a 0.8 base adjustment, leaving no net gain from that bonus in its model. Transit can still be required for a quest: Ragman’s Know Your Place! calls for a Streets-to-Interchange transfer within one raid.
