Hyper Scape: What Goes Up Comes Down

Hyper Scape, Ubisoft’s latest Battle Royale sensations seem to be coming to an end way too early. What appears to be an explosive, fast-paced Battle Royale, isn’t doing very well just after days since the technical test. Again, this might be the aura the “Technical Test” is dealing with, but it seems that it’s far beyond that.

Usually, whenever there’s an exceptional breakthrough on Twitch, it’s easy to be noticed. It was a good run for at least a day or two, despite the proposition of having the same curve as Valorant. Because, Valorant had the same Twitch Drops promotion ongoing for quite a while during its beta, but the viewership number was dominant for a lot longer compared to Hyper Scape.

Hyper Scape is indeed a solid shooter with an exciting snipe potential due to its hitscan proportion. With its novelty, it’s somewhat devastating to see it falling behind numerous other BR games. But, we shouldn’t forget that the current version of the game is classified as Technical Test, and it is only available in a couple of countries.

Again, how do you make this game stand out from its other BR competitors? Despite the voting feature and the boosted streamer interaction, what else does this game need? So far, Hyper Scape differs from the others by a couple of mechanics. It has a novel and distinct revive feature from other BRs. The voting feature ensures streamer interaction, hitscan sniping (which doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be praised), character hacks, and abilities, but it seems that a missing factor still keeps the game distant from success.

We’ll have to see what Ubisoft comes up for its official release. We have also estimated that Ubisoft Forward may be the date when the game goes live worldwide, so before we go ham on the numbers, we should wait and see if this is the case.

My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
