A Simple Task in a Difficult Place is Therapist’s follow-up to Hidden Route. This time, finding the passage is not enough: you need to enter The Lab and make it out with the Survived raid status.
Requirements and Objective
- Complete Hidden Route, then accept this task from Therapist.
- Survive and extract from The Lab.
Therapist supplies one TerraGroup Labs access keycard as initial equipment. Take the ordinary access card for entry; colored keycards are not required by this quest.
How to Complete the Quest
- Check that the quest is active before entering The Lab. Collect the supplied access keycard and prepare your loadout before committing to the raid.
- Plan an extraction rather than looking for a fight. There is no kill requirement, item pickup or boss objective in this task. Check your available exits and work toward one you can reach.
- Avoid a Run-Through. Stay in the raid for at least seven minutes or earn at least 200 EXP through kills or looting before extracting.
- Leave through a valid Lab extraction and check the result. The raid must end with Survived status. Return to Therapist to complete the quest.
Getting out quickly is not automatically a successful attempt. A Run-Through does not complete this task, even though you extracted alive. Check the status on the raid-results screen before turning your attention to the next quest.

Completing the task unlocks Extending the Operation. This is an event quest, not a permanent trader-progression task.
