BTR Driver

Escape From Tarkov “Battery Change” Quest Guide

Battery Change needs one military battery, but completing it first can fail a Lightkeeper quest.

Battery Change is a one-item handover for the BTR Driver. You need one 6-STEN-140-M military battery, and it does not have to be found in raid. Check your Lightkeeper quest progress before turning it in, though, because completing Battery Change first automatically fails Order From Outside.

Requirements and objectives

The quest is given by the BTR Driver. Its preceding quests are Stick in the Wheel or Stabilize Business.

Objective Requirement
Find a 6-STEN-140-M military battery 1 battery, not required to be found in raid
Hand over a 6-STEN-140-M military battery Give the battery to the BTR Driver

Needed equipment

  • One 6-STEN-140-M military battery. A battery obtained before accepting the quest can be used.

How to complete Battery Change

  1. Check Order From Outside first. Completing Battery Change before that Lightkeeper quest automatically fails it.
  2. Get one military battery. Found-in-raid status is not required.
  3. Trigger the find objective if the battery is already in your inventory. If you had it before accepting the quest, move it to a different inventory slot so the objective registers.
  4. Hand the battery to the BTR Driver. In local PvE raids, accepting the quest and handing over the battery in the same raid currently does not work.

Rewards

  • 58,700 EXP
  • +0.03 BTR Driver reputation
  • 284,000 Roubles
