Escape From Tarkov “Beyond the Red Meat” Quest Guide

Find one of four Chef's diary locations at Beluga. The director key is optional.

Beyond the Red Meat is a one-item search at Beluga, but the Chef’s diary is carried as a quest item and is lost if you fail to extract. Find it at one of the restaurant’s listed locations, then hand it over to Skier.

Requirements and objectives

Skier gives the quest, which takes place at the Beluga restaurant on Streets of Tarkov. The diary can only be found while the quest is active.

  • Locate and obtain information on culinary secrets at Beluga.
  • Hand over the Chef’s diary.

Equipment

The Beluga restaurant director key is optional. It unlocks the director’s office, where one diary location is found, but the other listed locations do not require the key.

How to complete the quest

  1. Enter the Beluga restaurant on Streets of Tarkov and check the diary’s possible locations:
    • Second floor: On a shelf inside the oval bar, tucked between towels.
    • Third floor: On the shelf beneath the bar.
    • Third floor kitchen: Inside a cabinet near the four sinks.
    • Third floor director’s office: On an illuminated shelf. The Beluga restaurant director key unlocks this room.
  2. Pick up the Chef’s diary. It is marked as found in raid and transfers to your quest item inventory. If you fail to extract with it, you lose it.
  3. After extracting with the diary, hand it over to Skier.
