The Customs investigation requires the Dorm overseer key, even though finding one on Shoreline is an optional objective.
Against the Conscience – Part 1 sends you to the three-story dorms on Customs to investigate the old champion’s room. You need a Dorm overseer key to enter, but the quest’s Shoreline objective to find one is optional if you already have access to the key.
Requirements and objectives
The seasonal progression note places this quest after Create a Distraction – Part 1, without completing Hold the Lead. No player-level requirement is specified.
- Locate the old champion’s room on Customs.
- Optional: Locate and obtain the Dorm overseer key at the smugglers’ base on Shoreline.
- Find out what happened to the champion.
- Survive and extract from the location.
Needed equipment
- 1 Dorm overseer key: Required to unlock the room on Customs. The Shoreline key-finding objective is optional, and the key’s Find in raid requirement is listed as N/A.
How to complete the quest
- If you need the key, use the optional objective to locate and obtain it at the smugglers’ base on Shoreline. The quest information does not give a more precise spot at the base.
- Go to the three-story dorms on Customs. On the second floor, find the room between rooms 209 and 211 and unlock its door with the Dorm overseer key.
- Inside, approach the puddle of blood on the floor beside the wardrobe to investigate what happened to the champion.
- Survive and extract from Customs to complete the final objective.
