When Enshrouded reaches 1.0 on October 15, PC owners will be able to keep using their Early Access saves and won’t need to buy the game again. Keen Games confirmed those details in its Steam FAQ, which also outlines three decorative rewards for Early Access players.
The exclusive props are a statue more than 4 meters tall, a tome marked with the “E” from the game’s Early Access logo, and a signal device that players can turn on when they need a hero. Owners can claim them repeatedly through the “Redeem Add-Ons” button in the escape menu.

Players who buy the game after Early Access ends won’t be able to place the props themselves, but an Early Access owner can visit their world and set them down. The new owner can remove a placed prop, and the original owner can claim another copy to share.
Existing saves will convert to a more efficient format for 1.0. Keen Games has also changed the world and the opening hours, so the studio recommends starting over for anyone who wants to see those updates from the beginning. For a preview of what’s changing, the FAQ links to a playlist of videos covering new and improved features.
Cross-platform play won’t be available at launch. Keen Games says it is working on the feature but has no estimate for when it will be ready. The studio plans to share a trailer and the full changelog on October 14, followed by a highlights video on the October 15 release day.
