War Thunder’s 245th Screenshot Contest Puts Light Vehicles in Focus

Entries close October 16, 2026, and six winners will each receive 300 Golden Eagles.

War Thunder’s 245th Steam Screenshot Competition is open, asking players to capture lightweight vehicles using their speed and agility. Entries are due October 16, 2026, and eligible subjects include single-engine aircraft or helicopters, light tanks or wheeled vehicles, and coastal fleet vehicles.

Gaijin’s Steam announcement suggests scenes of vehicles scouting on the battlefield or taking part in a dogfight. To enter, upload a new screenshot to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub and use #WTscreen245 as the entire title.

Entries must be the creator’s own work, follow War Thunder’s rules, and use raw screenshots captured in the game. Outside editing software and visual enhancements such as Nvidia Ansel filters are not allowed, but the game’s built-in filters, settings, and replay tools are permitted. An artist can win through popular voting only once in any four screenshot competitions.

After submissions close, three of the six winners will be the highest-rated community entries, while judges will select the other three. Each winner will receive 300 Golden Eagles, delivered to their account within 14 working days.

Winners from the 244th contest

Gaijin has also announced the winners of the previous round, which required at least two allied vehicles in each screenshot. The community-voted winners are the first entry, second entry, and third entry.

The judges selected the first judge-picked entry, second judge-picked entry, and third judge-picked entry. Each of those winners will also receive 300 Golden Eagles.
