The First Descendant Will End Guide Quests After Its November 17 Update

Guide Quests already in progress will be completed automatically, with their rewards sent to inventory.

The First Descendant will discontinue its Guide Quests after the Season 4 Episode 2 update scheduled for November 17, 2026. Nexon says their rewards will move into the Boost Path to make growth guidance more efficient, according to its Steam notice.

Players already progressing through a Guide Quest will have it completed automatically when the update arrives, and its rewards will go straight to their inventory. After the update, players will no longer be able to accept or progress Guide Quests. Rewards for quests they have not accepted will not be paid out separately, as those rewards are scheduled to become part of the Boost Path.
