Falcons and Spirit will meet in the ESL Pro League Season 24 quarterfinals on October 9, giving the eight-team playoff its headline matchup. All four quarterfinals are scheduled at Spodek Arena in Katowice, with the bracket running through October 11.

Falcons beat Spirit in the IEM Cologne 2026 Major semifinal on their way to the title. Spirit won their next meeting 2-0 in the BLAST Open Porto semifinals, then won the BLAST Open Porto title for a second consecutive tournament victory after the Esports World Cup.
Spirit’s route into these playoffs was less smooth. It lost Swiss-stage matches to MOUZ and 1win before beating M80 2-0 to claim the final playoff place.
1win and PARIVISION landed in the top half, facing Aurora and Vitality, respectively. The other half pairs FURIA with MOUZ and Falcons with Spirit. The FURIA-MOUZ winner will meet the Falcons-Spirit winner in the semifinal.
The quarterfinals and semifinals are best-of-three, while the grand final on October 11 is best-of-five. Semifinals are scheduled for October 10.
