Skydance Combines Paramount Games Studio With Warner Bros. Games
Tony Driscoll is set to lead games and experiences, while Josh Silverman will oversee global products and publishing across studios behind Mortal Kombat, Batman, and Hogwarts Legacy.

Paramount Games Studio and Warner Bros. Games now sit in one games operation under Skydance, following Paramount and Warner Bros.’ $110 billion merger on Oct. 6. The companies’ combination brings Warner Bros.’ internal development teams together with Paramount’s newly formed games studio and Skydance’s own portfolio.

Warner Bros.’ side includes Avalanche Software, NetherRealm Studios, Rocksteady Studios, TT Games, and WB Games teams in Montreal and Boston. Their franchises include Hogwarts Legacy, Mortal Kombat, Batman, and LEGO games. Warner Bros. confirmed in August that a second Hogwarts Legacy game is in development.
Paramount’s games lineup includes TMNT: The Last Ronin and Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, alongside properties such as SpongeBob and Star Trek. Skydance adds the upcoming Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, giving the combined operation a portfolio that spans several established entertainment brands.
A Tuesday staff email set out the leadership assignments. Tony Driscoll, who led Paramount Games Studio and previously worked at Epic Games and Warner Bros., will serve as president of games and experiences while continuing to lead corporate strategy and development. Josh Silverman will be president of global products and publishing.
Jim Sterner will remain chief people officer and continue leading HR operations. Jose Turkienicz will remain president of global operations, overseeing real estate, procurement, and studio operations, with a remit to simplify processes and improve service so teams can bring ideas to market faster. Jeff Silberman will serve as Gordon’s chief of staff while continuing as executive vice president of corporate strategy.
Driscoll said his first priority in the coming weeks is meeting employees across the operation, including teams in Los Angeles, London, Montreal, and Tokyo.
