Marvel Rivals’ Infinity War Event Will Begin Oct. 9 With 2v2 Battles
Infinity War puts 12 players into six two-person teams, while Endgame's October 22 mode is a 50-player PvE battle against Thanos' army.
Marvel Rivals’ Path to Doomsday: Infinity War event begins October 9, 2026, with 12 players split into six duos for 2v2 deathmatches across Wakanda. The date is confirmed, but the exact launch hour is not.
Each team starts with one of the six Infinity Stones, and each Stone grants a gameplay bonus. Defeating another duo lets the winners claim its Stone and add its power to their side. Losing a round drains a team’s health, with elimination coming once that health runs out. Between rounds, duos draft cards from a random pool to strengthen their abilities.

Endgame Mode Arrives on October 22
The next Path to Doomsday chapter, Avengers: Endgame, is scheduled to open on October 22. Its 50-player PvE mode will send players into the ruins of Avengers Compound to fight Thanos’ army.
Marvel Rivals’ earlier Age of Ultron chapter was announced as a PvE mode, so Infinity War brings a head-to-head format to the event before Endgame returns to PvE. Both new modes will also bring interactive activities to Times Square. Season 10.5 will include Halloween festivities, new cosmetics, and two exclusive events.
The Path to Doomsday events began in April and are building toward Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled for December 18, 2026.
