PS5 shoppers can find early savings before Amazon’s Prime Day event begins at midnight on Oct. 6. Sony’s certified refurbished consoles are $100 below their listed prices, and several PS5 games and headsets also have discounts available ahead of the sale.
Sony’s console discounts are for refurbished models
New PS5 consoles are listed at $649.99 for the disc edition, $599.99 for the Digital Edition, and $899.99 for PS5 Pro. For a lower price, Sony’s refurbished PS5 Digital Edition Slim is $499, down from $599. The refurbished disc edition Slim is $549 instead of $649. Both offers are for certified refurbished consoles, not new units.
Early game and headset price cuts
Amazon has two PS5 game discounts worth a look. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is $59.99, down from $69.99. The Resident Evil Requiem Amazon Exclusive Edition costs $49.99 rather than $69.99, a $20 reduction.
For audio, the wired Turtle Beach Atlas 200 is $34.99, compared with its $59.99 price. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni is down to $359.99 from $400 for shoppers looking at a higher-priced headset.
