AION 2’s pre-registration and Steam wishlist rewards will be available to every player who creates an account and logs in before maintenance begins on December 1. That gives players joining for the October 5 free-to-play launch almost two months to qualify.
The rewards include a chest of consumables and two pets. Everyone gets a Pagati, then chooses one additional pet from Papis, Silver Blade Rotan, Konutin Worker, or Black Smoke Murute.
NC also plans to make Founder’s Pack cosmetics available to every character on every server, replacing the current single-character restriction. NC’s Steam announcement says the change may take several days to implement, so it may not be ready for the October 5 launch. The developer plans to share how characters will receive the cosmetics, whether players need to take any steps, and when the change will arrive once its approach is confirmed.
Players who decide to upgrade to a higher-tier Founder’s Pack can request a refund for their existing tier through Steam Support to avoid paying twice for some items.
NC has also confirmed its first server pairings in a separate Steam notice. Elyos and Asmodian players are divided between separate servers, and competitive modes such as Spacetime Rifts and the Abyss will pit each world against a designated rival. NC plans to rotate the pairings periodically to help keep the factions balanced.
