Gray Zone Warfare CEO Says MADFINGER Is Planning a Faster Cheater Response
Marek Rabas said the studio cannot stop every cheat, but wants to find offenders and remove them quickly as it prepares Update 0.5.

MADFINGER Games CEO and co-founder Marek Rabas says the studio is putting together a plan to respond to cheating faster in Gray Zone Warfare. During a media briefing about Rogue Ops, the upcoming Update 0.5, he said, “We cannot prohibit all the cheating, but we can find these people and kick them out as soon as possible”.
Rabas acknowledged that MADFINGER cannot prevent every instance of cheating. His stated goal is to identify offenders and remove them quickly, rather than promise a cheat-free game.
The comments build on the studio’s July 2026 position. MADFINGER had acknowledged that cheaters were present and described its use of automated and manual anti-cheat measures, which it planned to keep improving, in its response to cheating claims around Gray Zone Warfare.
Rabas made the latest remarks during a briefing about Rogue Ops, the upcoming Update 0.5. The update is expected to introduce a second gameplay loop centered on passive income, building a life in Lamang, and progressing toward Ground Zero. MADFINGER previewed Update 0.5 during a Gamescom stream in September 2026, but that presentation did not include a release date.
