Battlestate Games has just confirmed that another Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drops event is imminent. The new EFT Twitch Drops event will start on Thursday, June 11, at 12:00 MSK and will last until June 22, 12:00 MSK. During that time, viewers who have linked their Twitch Account will be able to acquire items in their mailbox by just watching their favorite Escape From Tarkov streamers. As previously mentioned, Battlestate Games have been aiming for a more systematic Twitch Drops event, and we’ll soon find out how this one goes.
UPDATE: Battlestate Games has acknowledged everyone that the Twitch Drops won’t include found-in-raid items.
In a recent news article, Battlestate Games has confirmed the arrival of the “more advanced” EFT Twitch Drops event, alongside the full streamer schedule.
Dear friends! Twitch Drops are back in Tarkov! Participation requirements for it are as easy as always, you will need to follow this simple instruction.
Unlike the previous Twitch Drops event, this one is a bit controversial. Not every streamer will be eligible of drops during the event time span. Instead, there will be different streamers assigned to each day between June 11 and June 22. Players will need to shuffle between streamers each day. Escape From Tarkov is currently in patch 0.12.6, which is considered to imbue a lot harder looting features, as it ultimately diminishes the hatchlings in the game. The Flea Market changes to accept only found-in-raid listings, and the loss of the found-in-raid tag of items stashed in the secure container upon death is one of the crucial changes in this update.
