Escape from Tarkov’s Historical Prospects Quest May Accept a Player’s Own Dogtag

The player said the tag stayed in their inventory after it counted toward all three marked-location placements.

A player says Escape from Tarkov’s Kord Breach quest Historical Prospects accepts the player’s own found-in-raid dogtag for its planting objective. In their account, the same tag can be planted at a marked location three times to complete the task, and it remains in the player’s inventory.

The player noticed the behavior after planting a PMC dogtag and seeing the interaction prompt return. They then tried their own tag, which the quest accepted. If the behavior works beyond this single report, it offers a way to finish the three placements without losing the dogtag.
