SwizzY281 and pixiefnbr Win Fortnite Global Championship for Europe

SwizzY281 and pixiefnbr won the Fortnite Global Championship for Europe in Antwerp, Belgium, finishing the 12-game Battle Royale Duos event with 525 points and a $400,000 share of the $2 million prize pool. The victory also made SwizzY the first player in Fortnite esports history to win back-to-back FNCS Global Championships. Fortnite’s official announcement celebrated the pair with an onstage trophy presentation.

Fifty duos from seven regions competed at Lotto Arena, meaning the champions finished ahead of 49 other teams. Their run was built on consistency rather than a stack of Victory Royales, with 39 eliminations and an average placement of 13.42 across the tournament.

SwizzY’s repeat win came late in the tournament

SwizzY281 and pixiefnbr secured their only match win in Game 10, leaving two games to protect the advantage they had built. They finished 32 points ahead of Shxrk and t3eny, who took second place overall. Higgs and Curve recorded the most match wins with two, but still finished 10th, another reminder that Fortnite’s placement and elimination scoring can outweigh a short burst of victories.

After the final match, the champions lifted the FNCS trophy and the Axe of Champions alongside their payout. SwizzY’s latest title follows his 2025 global championship win in France with Merstach and Queasy, making consecutive victories a piece of Fortnite history rather than just another line on the results page.

Day 1 rewarded placement and eliminations

September 26’s opening session showed why a Victory Royale was not required to reach the top. Placement points and eliminations both counted toward the standings, allowing vic0 and Malibuca to build a 304-point lead through consistency without winning a game.

Higgs and Curve won Games 1 and 5, while Koyota and Yuma took Games 2 and 4. Randu and Grx won Game 3, and Shxrk and t3eny closed the session with the Game 6 Victory Royale.

Day 1 standings

The top six teams were separated by 85 points before the final session, leaving SwizzY and Pixie to climb from fourth place and claim the championship.

SwizzY281 and pixiefnbr’s victory puts Europe at the top of Fortnite’s global competition, turning a Day 1 race led by consistency into a championship win from outside the opening session’s top three.
