Your PS Plus September 2026 Guide to Essential, Extra, and Premium Games

September’s PS Plus refresh now has its final Extra additions in place for subscribers in the UK, U.S., and Japan. The three-game regional rollout includes Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance, while other regions received the same titles earlier. The wider update spans PS5, PS4, and PS2, and four Essential games remain available through October 5, 2026.

Date Everything appears in two PS5 and Extra entries dated September 9 and September 10 in the current table, so it is counted once in the Extra list below.

PS Plus Essential games

• Chained Echoes, PS4, available through October 5, 2026
• MLB The Show 26, PS5, available through October 5, 2026

PS Plus Extra games

The final regional rollout gives PS5 owners access to all three newly available games. PS4 subscribers can download Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and Sniper Elite: Resistance.

Subscribers can use the available filters to sort the wider PS Plus selection by tier, status, and system. The status options include What’s New, Coming Soon, Leaving Soon, Game Trials, and All Games, while the system filters cover PS5, PS4, PS3, PS2, and PS1.

October’s PS Plus Essential announcement is scheduled for September 30

Sony will announce the October 2026 PS Plus Essential lineup on September 30 at the following times:

• North America 8:30 a.m. PDT, 9:30 a.m. MDT, 10:30 a.m. CDT, and 11:30 a.m. EDT
• UK/Ire 4:30 p.m. BST
• Europe 5:30 p.m. CEST and 6:30 p.m. EEST
• Asia/Oceania 12:30 a.m. (Thu) JST, 11:30 p.m. AWST, and 1:30 a.m. (Thu) AEST
