Team Fortress 2’s Operation Lithium Lunacy Offers 28 Maps and 3 New Master Missions

Completing 6 missions earns in-game medals, while donations to Ocean Connections can provide 3 more medals.

Team Fortress 2’s Mann vs. Machine mode has a fresh challenge for players who enjoy pushing through punishing robot waves. Operation Lithium Lunacy, a charity event from Abyss MvM, features 28 maps, regional servers, and a set of master missions that go beyond the main difficulty lineup.

The official Team Fortress.com announcement lists 9 intermediate missions, 9 advanced missions, 2 nightmare missions, and 10 expert missions across the event’s 28 maps. Completing at least 6 missions earns in-game medals, giving players a clear starting target before they take on the hardest content.

Master missions add another level of difficulty

Operation Lithium Lunacy also includes 3 new master difficulty missions. Abyss MvM created them after working on the event for 3 years, and they are joined by a returning master mission from fall 2023 that was redesigned for the current skill level of the challenge.

Event servers are available in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Players can find the event information and a way to get started through the Abyss MvM event website. There is no deadline for taking part, so the missions will remain available for players who want to work through them at their own pace.

Donations support Ocean Connections

The event also gives players a way to support Ocean Connections and help seals. Donors can receive 3 in-game medals, and the donation information asks participants to have their Steam profile link ready.
