Bloomwalker will come to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC with a gentle twist on the crafting adventure. Rather than conquering Luminoa, players will travel through its damaged regions, cleanse the pollution covering the land, and help its natural spirits return to the world. Microsoft’s Xbox Wire announcement also revealed the game’s Pocket Dimension, a personal space for building and decorating.
Luminoa was once shared by people and nature spirits, but its sanctuaries have been ruined by pollution. The guardians who protected those places have fallen into madness and become physical forms of the contamination, while the small spirits known as Higgledies are also in danger.
Players will take on that problem as a traveler accompanied by a moving house. The home serves as a base and a companion, carrying its occupants from one sanctuary to the next. As the journey continues, it will gain new functions that help cleanse pollution and reach areas deeper in the world.
Restoration is the central activity rather than an afterthought. Pollution can be washed away from the land and its creatures, allowing color, wildlife, and Higgledies to return. The process can still create moments of tension, but the goal is to leave each place healthier than players found it.
Between expeditions, the house opens into a Pocket Dimension that players can shape for themselves. Structures and facilities can be placed there, while crafting materials support village repairs, new housing, and gifts for friends. Familiars and Higgledies can also help bring the space to life.
