PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS recorded 38,865 account bans during the investigation period from September 7 through September 13, 2026, according to its September 16 weekly bans notice. The breakdown also counted 15,904 banned devices and 34,022 affected accounts.
Cheating accounted for 28,059 of the bans. Team killing made up 4,122 cases, abusing accounted for 3,994, and teaming accounted for 2,690.
The latest total was higher than the 24,141 accounts recorded during the previous August 31 through September 6 review, which was covered in the previous weekly enforcement report. Account bans, banned devices, and affected accounts remain separate measures in the breakdown.
Permanently banned account nicknames are available in the full banned-account list, with the first 3 letters of each in-game name replaced by asterisks. PUBG asks players to report illegal software and misconduct through the in-game tools first, then contact PUBG Support if they need additional assistance. The notice also recommends Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator to help protect accounts.
