Xbox’s September 14 to 18 release week will cover 32 games across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass. Dune: Awakening, EA SPORTS FC 27, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, and Aniimo are among the larger arrivals, while a long list of smaller releases will bring everything from card-shop management to cozy puzzles. The dates come from Xbox Wire’s weekly schedule and can change.
Three games are marked for Game Pass. TCG Card Shop Simulator, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, and Aniimo will also support Xbox Play Anywhere, giving players more flexibility across Xbox and PC. The busiest day will be September 17, with 11 releases scheduled before the week closes with seven more games on September 18.
September 14 opens with four releases
- TCG Card Shop Simulator (Game Preview) will reach version 1.0 with a shop-management setup built around stocking booster packs, opening cards, collecting rare finds, setting play fees, and hosting card games. It is marked for Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere, with $19.99 and $15.99 prices shown.
- Catch Flex will use a single camera to track full-body movement. The game does not require a VR headset, gamepad, or wearable device, and even its menus are controlled with gestures.
- FEROCIOUS will send players to an uncharted island filled with mercenaries, dinosaurs, mechas, ancient ruins, and dangerous wildlife. The Xbox Series X|S release will support Xbox Play Anywhere.
- FOUNTAINS: Extended Edition will combine soulslike combat with the Shattered Shape expansion, which adds a new area, enemies, weapons, and skills. The Xbox Series X|S edition is shown at $19.99, with a $16.99 price also displayed.
September 15 adds survival and strategy
- RuneScape: Dragonwilds will bring its co-operative survival adventure to Ashenfall, where players gather resources, build, craft, develop skills, and face the Dragon Queen. RPG progression will unlock abilities and spells, and the game will be available through Game Pass with Xbox Series X|S optimization and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
- Train Sim World 7: Standard Edition will include routes through Yorkshire and Bavaria, along with Conductor Mode, Free Roam, Creators Club, and Photo Mode. It will support Xbox Series X|S, Smart Delivery, and Xbox Play Anywhere. The listing shows $49.99 and $44.99 prices.
- 5 in 1 Arcade Vault will collect five arcade games built around different challenges, including monster hunting, fishing, reflex tests, and score chasing. It will be optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
- Cipher Monk: Cassette Equation will turn a number system created by Cistercian monks in the 13th century into a series of logic puzzles. Players will drag, rotate, and position pieces to form the required numbers on Xbox Series X|S.
September 16 brings creature collecting and cozy games
- Aniimo will offer a free-to-play, open-world creature-catching RPG set on the continent of Idyll. Players can bond with Aniimo, visit a floating metropolis, meet other Pathfinders, and take part in competitive battles. The game will be available through Game Pass with Xbox Series X|S optimization and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
- Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection will bundle the hospital game with all of its downloadable content. The collection adds nine hospitals, more than 80 illnesses, new mechanics, and expansions including Bigfoot, Pebberley Island, Close Encounters, and Off the Grid. It will be optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
- Dimensional Animals will follow five animal friends, each with a different ability, through a pixel-art platforming adventure. Players can switch between Bingo, Scott, Fidget, Papo, and Tucker while crossing an interconnected map. Smart Delivery and Xbox Series X|S optimization are included.
- Roman Sands RE:Build will combine an apocalyptic survival story with a strange resort job. Players will serve demanding guests while the sun moves closer to destroying the world, with both sides of the story connected through the game’s shifting adventure structure.
- Unbox the Room will focus on arranging furniture and household items for clients moving into new homes. The relaxing interior-design simulator will support Xbox Series X|S and Smart Delivery.
- Woodo will offer a 3D diorama puzzle experience built around assembling miniature scenes. Its story follows Foxy as a summer in the countryside leads her away from city life and toward a quieter routine. The game will be optimized for Xbox Series X|S and is shown at $19.99, with a $15.99 price also displayed.
September 17 is the busiest day
- Dune: Awakening will arrive in its Deluxe and Ultimate Editions for Xbox Series X|S. Funcom’s survival game will let players build, craft, and follow a cinematic story on Arrakis across single-player and multiplayer play.
- ENDLESS Legend 2 will bring turn-based strategy to an ocean world facing extinction. Players will lead different factions, establish cities, grow economies, command armies, and uncover the planet’s secrets as its environment changes.
- NASCAR 26 will include all four NASCAR National Series, Career, Quick Race, Championship, Multiplayer, and the new Chase mode. Cross-play multiplayer, dynamic tracks, a peak performance training mode, and revised driving physics are also included. The game is listed at $59.99.
- The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival will deliver arcade brawling with Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and unlockable Negan. Players will fight through walker-filled tunnels, settlements, and strongholds on Xbox Series X|S with Xbox Play Anywhere support.
- Airport Baggage Sim will put players behind a baggage inspection desk. Each suitcase must be checked, sorted, sent to the correct belt, and loaded onto a cart before the next flight arrives.
- Au Revoir will tell a science-fiction story about synthetic brains that store human consciousness. Players will inspect environments, collect clues, solve puzzles, make decisions, and travel between locations by car. Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere support are included.
- Flamecraft will adapt its cozy, turn-based board-game design for one to five players. Flamekeepers will gather resources, improve shops with enchantments, and help artisan dragons serve the town. The Xbox Series X|S version will support Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere.
- The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas will send the Grinch through snowy 3D platforming stages as he collects ornaments for a Christmas tree. Rocket Skates and a Snowball Maker will add movement and puzzle tools. The game is listed at $39.99 and will support Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere.
- Owlbound Tomes will ask players to guide an owl librarian across paths that disappear after a limited number of crossings. Recovering runaway books will require careful movement on Xbox Series X|S.
- Panda: Shards of Aurora will feature 30 handcrafted platforming levels set in a frozen valley. Slippery surfaces, spikes, fragile ground, and other hazards stand between a young panda and the Shards of Aurora.
- Sniper Dan will turn hidden-object puzzles into a shooting gallery. Dan uses a sniper rifle to solve jobs from a distance, with Xbox Series X|S optimization, Smart Delivery, and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
September 18 closes with sports and arcade games
- EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition will arrive on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through Smart Delivery. The Grounds will provide a social football space for Kickabouts, 1v1 matches, and Clubs, while the game will also add new gameplay systems across its modes. - Shadow Cat will feature a cat hero running, jumping, and dashing through 25 handcrafted 2D action-platforming levels set in forests, factories, caves, and tunnels.
- Sugar Box will offer shape-packing puzzles built around fitting clusters of cookies, candies, and chocolates into decorative boxes on Xbox Series X|S.
- Zombuffoonery will combine base defense with waves of monsters. Players will build fortifications, deploy turrets, and use firearms, explosives, axes, and knives to defend their fortress. Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere support are included.
