Collective Minds Removes Apex Legends Cheats From Its Website and Discord
The creators of Cronus Zen and Strike Pack removed Apex-related cheats after engagement with the Apex team.
Collective Minds, the creators of Cronus Zen and Strike Pack hardware, has removed all cheats related to Apex Legends from its website and Discord servers following engagement with the game’s team.
Apex Legends’ anti-cheat team called the removal a positive step in its effort to protect competitive integrity. The team also directed players to an EA blog update for more information about the wider anti-cheat effort.
The move comes as Respawn continues to increase enforcement against repeat offenders. In July, the team said it had issued nearly 6,000 hardware bans since the end of April, with most affecting PC players while console enforcement continued to grow.
