PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS banned 24,141 accounts during the investigation period from August 31 through September 6, 2026. The September 9 weekly bans notice also recorded 11,167 banned devices and 26,622 affected accounts.
The August 31-September 6 enforcement breakdown
Cheating accounted for the largest share of the action, but the total also included team killing, abusing, and teaming violations.
- Cheating: 13,112 accounts
- Team killing: 4,411 accounts
- Abusing: 4,279 accounts
- Teaming: 2,339 accounts
The latest total was 34,744 lower than the 58,885 accounts recorded during PUBG’s previous August 24-30 review. Account bans, device bans, and affected accounts remain separate measures in the weekly chart.
The full list of permanently banned accounts is available in the permanently banned account PDF. PUBG said the first 3 letters of each in-game nickname are replaced with asterisks in the document.
Players who encounter illegal software or other misconduct should use the in-game reporting tools first. PUBG also recommended signing up for Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator to help protect accounts.
