HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush Is Now in Early Access With 150+ Vehicles and 4 Islands

The arcade racer is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and ROG XBOX Ally with free-roaming islands, 4 vehicle classes, and a Track Builder.

HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush is now in Early Access on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, bringing more than 150 vehicles, 4 toy-scale islands, and player-created tracks to Milestone’s arcade racing series. The game is also handheld optimized for ROG XBOX Ally.

Players can find the release through the Xbox store page. The Xbox Wire launch announcement highlights a structure built around roaming, collecting, vehicle variety, and custom racing rather than a simple run of preset events.

Four islands give the racing room to roam

Each island combines races with free-roaming activities, hidden collectibles, obstacles, and other discoveries. Instead of moving through a fixed sequence, players can decide which challenges to tackle and spend time searching the islands for new opportunities.

Vehicle classes give the garage a purpose

The collection is divided among 4 classes with different strengths. Versatiles offer an all-around option, Titans bring heavy power, Drifters focus on agility, and Speeders are built for outright pace. Events are designed around those differences, so choosing a car is more than a cosmetic decision.

A Rush Squad can contain one vehicle from each class, with a single button press allowing players to switch between them during free-roaming sections. That setup lets a driver keep a preferred answer ready for tight corners, long straights, or heavier challenges without returning to a menu.

Races build toward a larger collection

Progression connects the islands, their rival crews, and the single-player campaign. Every island has a Rush Master, and completing its events unlocks a challenge against that boss. Winning earns the rival’s car and title, with all 4 victories leading toward becoming the one true Rush Master.

Races are only one way to grow the garage. Special activities, rival crew challenges, hidden opportunities, and the Secret Dealership can all add vehicles to the collection.

Custom tracks keep the action moving

Sticker and Livery editors let players change the look of their vehicles, while Track Builder turns the surrounding environment into part of the course. Modules can be attached to the ground, wrapped around buildings, or placed above the city. Ground-snapping tools help tracks fit their surroundings, and AI action markers allow virtual opponents to race on the finished creations.

Beyond the campaign, the game supports split-screen racing for up to 4 players and online multiplayer with cross-play. Nintendo Switch 2 is excluded from that cross-play support. Xbox and PC players get access ahead of the planned September 10 PS5 launch, which was previewed alongside the game’s 4-island structure in earlier PS5 coverage.
