STALCRAFT: X will begin its new season, tulpa!, on September 2. The Zone is heading into a period where trust between Stalkers is breaking down and reality itself may not be as dependable as it seems.
The season’s premise centers on an unknown influence that attacks more than a player’s health or equipment. The mind becomes the real threat, with familiar surroundings gradually taking on an unreal quality. Not every Stalker will be able to resist it, according to the season’s setup.
For now, the announcement keeps the details deliberately mysterious. It asks players to enter the Zone on September 2 and face the influence directly, without explaining how its effects will work during gameplay.
One reward already teased for the season is a sniper rifle that lets players charge a shot before firing, a mechanic covered in our sniper rifle preview. The new announcement, however, puts its attention on the unsettling story behind tulpa! rather than revealing the full reward lineup.
