Borderlands: Dead ECHOs Episode 7 Has Watts and Junie Scrambling to Leave Pandora
The pair races toward the spaceport and Junie's childhood home while the Liquidator remains in pursuit.

Borderlands: Dead ECHOs moves into Episode 7 with Watts and Junie trying to get off Pandora before the Liquidator catches them. Their escape takes them to the spaceport and toward Junie’s childhood home, although this reunion comes with corporate hit squads, questionable deals, and a very strange threat involving Watts’ fingers.
Gearbox continues the story in its Steam announcement, which teases another round of dark comedy for the pair. The episode leans into gross-out humor with chowder chunks, suckle knuckles, cubicle farms, giant novelty scissors, and other unpleasant creations with names like goos, creams, and sleems.
At the center of the series are Watts, a disenchanted DAHL ECHO Operator, and Junie, a stranger who pulls him out of trouble before joining his secret-selling operation. Watts searches undeliverable ECHO logs for information he can sell, while Junie pushes the business toward a Robin Hood-style scheme. Their plans have attracted mercenaries, outlaws, and DAHL’s corporate hit squad, led by rogue executive Vivian Proctor.
Episode 6 connected the pair’s troubles to DAHL, Vivian Proctor, and the cyborgs before ending with a possible visitor at the door. Episode 7 now sends Watts and Junie back into motion as they look for a way out of Pandora.
Borderlands: Dead ECHOs is Gearbox’s first scripted narrative podcast and a limited audio drama set in the chaotic Borderlands universe. New episodes debut weekly, giving the series time to keep adding complications to Watts and Junie’s increasingly dangerous partnership.
The series is also available through Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and Pandora.
