Stage Tour Will Launch With More Than 90 Songs on December 10, 2026

RedOctane Games' rhythm game will include more than 90 songs at launch, a complete instrument set, and modes ranging from Quickplay and Practice to Karaoke and Tour Mode, with 45 tracks revealed so far.

Stage Tour, a new rhythm game from several developers who worked on the original Guitar Hero, will launch on December 10, 2026. RedOctane Games plans to release it for PC, XBOX, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, with more than 90 songs and a complete instrument set.

RedOctane Games announced the release date during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, where it also showed a new trailer. The plastic-instrument comeback is getting a proper stage setup, too.

The game will cover music from six decades, although its full setlist has not been revealed yet. So far, 45 tracks have been publicly identified, ranging from Avril Lavigne and The Cure to Metallica, Slipknot, Weezer, and ZZ Top. The project’s current song reveal is also available through the announced track details.

Stage Tour instruments, prices, and modes

Stage Tour will launch alongside officially branded controllers, including a Kramer guitar, a drum kit, and wired or wireless microphone options. The wired USB microphone is listed at £17.99, while the drum kit costs £179.99 and the guitar controller costs £99.99.

The game itself is priced at £34.99. A bundle containing the game and a guitar controller will cost £119.99, while officially licensed Gibson guitar controllers start at £109.99.

Players will have access to Quickplay and Practice modes, along with Judgements, Karaoke, and Tour Mode. RedOctane Games has announced 45 tracks so far and plans to reveal more songs before launch.

RedOctane Games has a direct connection to the series that inspired Stage Tour. Several members of the original RedOctane team are working on the new game after helping produce Guitar Hero in 2005. That gives the project a familiar foundation, even as it builds a new song catalog around performers from several eras.

Stage Tour will support online and local co-op, as well as online and local multiplayer. It is listed for one or more players, while Steam Deck compatibility has not been confirmed.
