The First Descendant Confirms Its 2026 Skin Contest Winners
Two Descendant skins and one vehicle skin are scheduled to be released in-game during the second half of 2026.
Nexon has announced the winners of The First Descendant‘s 2026 Skin Contest in its official contest announcement. The results follow the earlier finals voting period, which was reset after suspected AI use was found among some entries.
Two Descendant skin designs won the top prize, while one Vehicle Skin took the vehicle category’s Grand Prize. Nexon plans to release all three winning designs in-game and sell them during the second half of 2026.
The reward title has also been changed from Honorable Artist to Honorable Art.
Descendant Skin winners
The two Grand Prize winners are Dyani#7357 and Strawbunniio#7902, both in the Women’s Skin category. Each winner receives the in-game release of their design, 100 coupons for the winning skin, US $6,200, an Acrylic Merch Set, an Art Book, and the Honorable Art title.

Recognized finalists and judging notes
The remaining recognized finalists are Maluv17#7287, ROjpn#4507, divineknight#0148, DanielleVera#4429, Einnora#4383, Rocketeer#5921, oO RawrStar Oo#9565, and hideinthethigh#5146. They will receive an Acrylic Merch item and the Honorable Art title.
Winners were determined by final-round vote totals and then confirmed through a review for violations of the contest precautions and operation policy. Entries were removed from final winner selection for reasons including incomplete original submissions, suspected use of AI technology, files that failed to meet technical specifications, resolution problems, multiple-account submissions, automation tools, or manipulated votes.
Account name changes made after the final voting period were not reflected in the announcement. Nexon also warned that the winning designs may look different when added to the game because of technical or optimization requirements. The winners’ skin coupons will be sent by email when the designs are released, and no separate usage fee will be paid for the intellectual property rights connected to the winning entries.
Winner information and reward schedule
Winners must submit the personal information needed for reward distribution between August 20 and October 21, 2026, PDT/PST. Nexon will send individual instructions to the email address used for the original submission. Missing the deadline can lead to removal from the winner list.
Prize money is scheduled for distribution in November-December, merchandise shipping is scheduled to begin during the same period, and the in-game title is scheduled to arrive through the in-game Mailbox in December. Nexon noted that these dates can change because of internal circumstances, local conditions, or customs clearance.
Additional details, including a winner’s name, country, passport number, and passport copy, may be requested during the prize distribution process. Incorrect information, account sanctions, unresolved rights disputes, failure to complete required agreements, or local legal restrictions can also affect eligibility. Any VAT or customs fees on physical rewards are the recipient’s responsibility.
