Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition is available now, with two October additions

The $14.99 DLC bundle will add Echoes of Sekigahara and the single-player survival mode Most Wanted on October 1, 2026.

Sony has announced Ghost of Yotei: Echoes of Sekigahara, a story expansion that will launch alongside the roguelike combat mode Most Wanted on October 1, 2026.

Players who already own Ghost of Yotei will be able to purchase both additions together for $14.99. The $69.99 Complete Edition is available now on PS5, giving new players immediate access to the base game before the expansion and survival mode arrive through an update on October 1.

Anyone who buys the Complete Edition or pre-orders the DLC by September 30 will also receive the Sakai Armor as an early unlock. The armor is designed as a nod to Jin’s family armor from Ghost of Tsushima.

Echoes of Sekigahara follows Atsu across two time periods

The story expansion will move between Atsu’s present-day journey in Ezo and flashbacks to her time on the mainland. One of the new characters is Nagato, a figure from Atsu’s past who has arrived in Ezo.

In the present, Atsu will visit a previously unseen valley once controlled by The Snake and the Vipers, his loyal followers. The flashback sections will cover Atsu’s experiences during the Battle of Sekigahara, along with an important moment from her life before she returned home to pursue vengeance.

The expansion will also add new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, dyes, and other rewards.

Most Wanted brings repeatable combat runs

Most Wanted is a single-player combat-survival mode built around bounty runs. Players will accept a bounty to begin a run, then earn perks by defeating enemies. Completing runs will also unlock more characters to use.

The announcement trailer shows Atsu fighting with dual katanas, Oyuki using a kusarigama, and Nagato wielding a yari. Sony has not shared the full details of the mode yet, but the October 1 launch will give players a new way to return to the game’s combat after finishing the main story.

The Complete Edition is available now, while Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted remain scheduled for October 1, 2026.

The game takes place 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima. Set in the lands surrounding Mount Yōtei, a towering peak in the heart of Ezo, an area of Japan known as Hokkaido in present day.

The area is outside the rule of Japan, and filled with sprawling grasslands, snowy tundras, and unexpected dangers.
