No more, no less. When the Warlords expansion arrives, I pretty much want to deal with Aaron Keener myself, which guy’s appearance was somewhat interesting during The Division. But, his presence has become way too mysterious to serve the country so he decided to turn rogue once he understood it’s all about power.
But why exactly him? Well, if we connect dots, it is clear that Aaron Keener is still a part of the franchise, especially since Massive Entertainment added recordings of him in The Division 2. While on a roll in DC, we could find a couple of recordings from him, which are collectibles scattered across the world.
Shortly after all the evidence is collected, it is easy to pinpoint its location and find out he actually returned to New York. Oh, wait, does this sound already strange? Well, the new Warlords expansion, which is supposed to have a huge and unexplored terrain of New York so far, is somewhat hinting of a new fight, and possibly against the very scarry “once an agent of The Division and servant of the people”, Aaron Keener.
While in the first game series, he managed to slip through our hands and get out of New York, he managed to return back while we migrated to a new game. Well, worry not Aaron, we’re about to have a lot of fun with you once the game comes out.
So, will Aaron Keener be the next boss or a part of a raid encounter? It might be, but we do not know for sure what kind of intentions does Massive has over this figure. Will we finally be able to get rid of him? Most probably, but it will take a lot of nerve-racking encounters.
In any case, we have to eliminate any rogue status or target on our way. Once in the exact area, we’ll see who we’re going to fight against. Most likely Aaron, as our friends over at Polygon have also somewhat confirmed the same.
