Koei-Tecmo’s fairy tail RPG gets a new delay. The delay was announced with a press release, confirming the suspension of Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail was first slated to release on March for EU and NA, while now it’s sitting at a seemingly later date, June 25 and June 26.
The delay is due to polishing purposes, as the product needed the final touches before it hops into manufacturing mode. Within the press release, the game’s producer, Keisuke Kikuchi, apologizes for the delay.
I am truly sorry for FAIRY TAIL’s delay, and the inconvenience caused to our fans, partners, and stakeholders who are looking forward to this title, says Kikuchi. Please allow us to take further time to polish the game to ensure it is as high quality as possible, so we can offer you a truly immersive experience.
Kikuchi also says that the developer will be committing to further polishment to ensure a smoother gameplay experience. Magic Effects, events, and more are bound to receive an upgrade, which proves how visuals are among the game’s determinants.
Fairy Tail is scheduled to release with a new launch date on PS4, PC, and Switch.
