Deep Rock Galactic’s 2026 Space Beach Party Sends Miners Chasing Floaties for Two Weeks

Completing this year's work assignment awards the Tactical Turtle hat, while lost floaties grant a Double Performance Pass Point Bonus.

Deep Rock Galactic’s 2026 Space Beach Party is underway. The two-week summer event began on August 6, with miners searching underground for lost pool floaties and picking up new cosmetic rewards along the way. Invisible Walls and The Ghost Ship Crew’s Steam announcement confirmed the event’s launch.

During missions, teams can hunt for another batch of floaties that went missing before reaching the Space Rig. Depositing them grants a Double Performance Pass Point Bonus, giving players an extra reason to search the caves instead of rushing straight to the drop pod.

The Tactical Turtle hat is this year’s reward

The event’s new cosmetic is the Tactical Turtle hat. Players can earn it by completing this year’s work assignment through the Mission Terminal.

Miners who missed earlier Space Beach Party celebrations also have a chance to collect hats from previous years. That gives returning players more than one cosmetic goal while the event remains active.

Outside the assignments, the Space Rig is getting its usual beach-party treatment, complete with sandy areas and cool drinks. The party will continue for two weeks, so there is time to chase floaties, earn Performance Pass points, and finish the hat rewards.
