Diablo 4 Season 15 PTR Has Warlock, Item, and Soul Splinter Bugs to Fix
Blizzard's test build has problems ranging from missing class progression to RTX 5070 Ti performance trouble.

Blizzard has identified a collection of bugs affecting the Diablo 4 Season 15 PTR, including a Warlock progression problem, incorrect Unique item behavior, Soul Splinter issues, and a graphics setting conflict for some PC players.
The problems were outlined in Blizzard’s August 4, 2026, forum post for PTR version 3.2.0. Blizzard intends to address the issues before the patch’s official release, although the post does not include a release date.
Warlock and item problems
Characters created with the level 70 boost may not receive the Warlock class mechanic automatically. The PTR also has several problems tied to Unique items, Talismans, and related affixes:
- Nemesis Bracers: The Unique Talisman’s affix effect does not match its tooltip description.
- Nafain’s Bestiary: The five-piece set bonus activates after equipping only two pieces.
- Henri’s Perquisition: The Unique Charm includes an extra +2 Thorns affix.
- The Hemat Stone: Its Talisman does not use the same affix value as the related Unique item.
- Arioc’s Needle: Its Poison Damage Over Time affix deals more damage than intended.
Other item and class-related bugs are also present. The Mythic version of The Furnace does not roll maximum aspect values, while Leoric’s Crown cannot be enchanted at the Occultist. The Counterattack of the Swarm variant deals more damage than its Patch Notes value, and Eluding Aspect grants incorrect values when placed on Amulets.
Bone Breaker’s Aspect is also failing to increase minion damage as intended.
Soul Splinter effects are not behaving correctly
Several issues involve Soul Splinters and how their effects interact with characters, mounts, and rings:
- The Splinter of Lies does not apply Vulnerable to the player while mounted.
- Movement speed can still be reduced even when the Splinter of the Mother should grant Unhindered with the required pair of Splinters equipped.
- When two rings have Soul Splinters of the same type, the ring equipped first determines which effect applies. The game does not automatically select the stronger effect.
UI and PC performance issues
Blizzard also warned that some interface elements, icons, tooltips, and item descriptions may show visual errors, formatting problems, or missing information during the PTR.
On PC, players using an RTX 5070 Ti may run into performance trouble when V-Sync is enabled and Frame Generation is set to high values. The issue is limited to the test build for now, and Blizzard plans to address it before 3.2.0 reaches its official release.
PTR issues can still change as testing continues, so these behaviors may not remain in the final version of Season 15. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram for more updates.
