Milestone has shared new gameplay from Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush ahead of its planned September 10 launch on PS5. The footage focuses on the arcade racer’s open-world format, which spreads its action across four themed islands.
Each area has its own look, and players can move between them by sending their cars off a massive ramp. It is a suitably wild way to connect the maps, especially for a series built around oversized tracks and toy-sized vehicles.
The trailer also gives more context on how progression will work. Rival racing crews appear to be at the center of the journey, with race events placed across each island alongside other open-world activities. Winning those events against opposing drivers will help players work toward becoming the top crew on the map.
That structure gives Infinite Rush a broader format than the Hot Wheels Unleashed games. The core goal remains familiar, though. Find events, beat the competition, and keep moving through a world packed with ramps, shortcuts, and toy-inspired scenery.
Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush will launch on September 10, 2026. Milestone’s latest trailer offers a closer look at what PS5 players will find across its four open-world islands.
The four-island setup gives the upcoming racer plenty of room for creative routes. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram.
