Hunt: Showdown 1896’s Road to Hell Chapter 3 roadmap points to a busy finale

The August 5 roadmap names Strongholds in Bounty Clash, crashed balloons, a new Legacy Chronicle, and a Mystery Crate.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 will move into the final leg of its Road to Hell storyline on August 5, 2026. Crytek’s Steam announcement teases fresh challenges and more ways to hunt in Chapter 3.

The roadmap is tied to Update 2.8 and names several pieces of content planned for the chapter. Players can look forward to Strongholds in Bounty Clash, Crashed Balloons, and a new Mystery Crate that can be extracted.

Desolation’s Call continues the story

Chapter 3 will also bring Desolation’s Call, a new Legacy Chronicle connected to the Road to Hell narrative. The story previously followed the 26th Regiment and its brutal campaign, with the next chapter carrying that thread forward.

The roadmap does not provide a more detailed schedule for each item. For now, Crytek has confirmed that Chapter 3 will begin on August 5, bringing the final Road to Hell content into view.
