Mistfall Hunter launched on July 29 at 6:00 PM PT for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Game Pass. The dark fantasy extraction action RPG sends players into Weavereach, a ruined world where every successful escape helps repair the shattered Web of Fate.
The launch details were shared in the official announcement. The game centers on high-risk runs filled with loot, monsters, rival hunters, and the constant threat of losing everything before reaching safety.
A dangerous hunt through Weavereach
Players take the role of a Gyldhunter after being revived by a mysterious girl named Dew. Six classes offer different ways to fight, with each class using two weapon stances. Combat mixes close-range attacks, magic, free-aim targeting, tactical items, talent trees, gem affixes, and active skills.
Runs can be played alone or with a three-player squad. The mist-filled ruins contain valuable Gyldenblood and forgotten relics, but they are also home to Corroded creatures and rival Gyldhunters looking to claim the same rewards. Death costs players their collected spoils, so every decision carries a real risk.
Successful extractions send Gyldenblood back to Windrest camp. The resource also serves a larger purpose, since players can offer it to Dew to help restore the Web of Fate. Community progress moves the story forward and changes the world across seasonal updates.
Seasonal changes will keep the world moving
Each season brings new main quests and limited-time events tied to the Web’s restoration. Progress milestones can open new classes, zones, arcana, and relics, giving the changing world a direct connection to the community’s efforts.
Weavereach is divided between locations such as the fortress of Brandrgarde and Hallowgrove. Humans, Velgr, and Lizardfolk inhabit the fallen realm, with their own beliefs and reasons for fighting. That gives the setting more weight than a simple series of loot runs.
Launch pricing and editions
The Standard Edition costs $24.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $39.99. The Deluxe package includes the Forsaken Skeleton outfit, the Shipwreck Coast background, and 2,500 in-game Fate Coins.
Both editions are 10% off across all platforms until August 12 at 10:00 AM PT. The game is also available through Xbox Game Pass on launch day. The product listing notes that Mistfall Hunter includes Xbox Play Anywhere support.
